HPC Compressed Air Systems is accredited with ISO9001:2015 (certificate number Q10128) the new standard of accreditation for its Quality Management System (QMS).
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and the standard is based on a number of principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers receive consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits including an ever increasing level of customer satisfaction.
Having transitioned from Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015, HPC has demonstrated its commitment to continual improvement. Clive Haynes, Management Representative - QHSE Systems at HPC explained; “We conducted a thorough Gap analysis of our quality system and following a team review of this, we overhauled and updated our quality manual and associated documentation, processes and procedures to reflect and comply with the new standard. Through good teamwork and with the support and commitment of all HPC personnel, we have successfully transitioned to the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard.”
Quality has always been a high priority and HPC regards the achievement of a high quality performance as being a continuous process affecting all aspects of its operation, to this end HPC has defined the management system as a series of interacting processes, each with measurable objectives, to ensure an efficient and effective organisation.
The HPC Quality Management System has been expanded to include the areas of Environment and Occupational Health & Safety and the success of HPC as a company is attributable ultimately to the quality of the products and services that it provides. Having understood and embraced the requirements of the new standard, HPC remain committed to employing a team approach to delivering excellence.
HPC is also a long serving member of both the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) and the Garage Equipment Association (GEA).
