Area Sales Engineer

Description: HPC Compressed Air Systems - Harlow require an Area Sales Engineer to join its busy team supplying energy efficient HPC products and system solutions. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for winning new business and will be actively involved in seeking and developing new customers.

An ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience selling industrial equipment or a similar technical product
  • An understanding of how to develop business opportunities through new and existing customers
  • The ability to understand the technical complexities of HPC's products and explain their benefits
  • The ability to sell products and support contracts to new and existing clients
  • The energy and enthusiasm to pursue and develop new business, building relationships with companies and driving growth

Experience in the sale of industrial air compressors would be an advantage. However, HPC will consider applications from candidates with transferable skills and relevant experience. The position will involve a significant amount of travelling to client sites and is not a traditional office based sales role.
