HPC Area Sales Manager

Description: A vacancy has arisen within HPC Compressed Air Systems for an Area Sales Manager covering the Midlands area and working out of either the HPC Nottingham or HPC Birmingham regional centre.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Area Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for achieving agreed centre sales budgets and objectives. The successful candidate will have an active involvement in HPC's programme of continued growth, market penetration and customer satisfaction and be responsible for building and maintaining both current and prospective customer relationships.

The ideal Area Sales Manager will have the following attributes:

  • Experience selling industrial equipment or a similar technical product
  • An understanding of how to develop new and existing customers
  • The ability to understand the technical complexities of the company’s products and clearly explain their benefits
  • The ability to find and sell products spares and service contracts to new and existing clients
  • The energy and enthusiasm to identify and develop new business, building relationships with companies and driving growth

Experience in the sale of industrial air compressors would be an advantage. However, HPC will consider applications from candidates with transferable skills and relevant experience. The job will involve a significant amount of travelling.
