Compressed Air Service Manager – South East

Description: A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Compressed Air Service Manager to cover the South East.

Our Service Manager will be responsible for managing our compressed air Service Engineers and the service department ensuring efficient operations and best use of available resources to provide a first-class service to all our customers.

This role requires you to drive continuous improvement initiatives to grow service contract numbers and revenue, providing management technical support to customers and engineers and meeting key objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide customers with a first-class service.
  • Day to day management of service engineers including highlighting training needs.
  • Work within agreed budgets, achieving set targets and KPIs with monthly service-related reporting.
  • Secure long term service contracts with new and existing customers.
  • Support Area Sales Engineers on service-related requirements and account development.
  • Manage the Service Coordinators for the South East ensuring full and efficient utilisation of engineer time.
  • A minimum of two days a week on the road, customer facing and mentoring service engineers, including site audits and quarterly van inspections ensuring HPC best practice is maintained.
  • Support the entire team through regular dialog, team meetings, informal and formal training, and supporting staff development and motivation.

Skills:

  • Good leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication, time management and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of working with current Health and Safety Procedures, and proven ability to implement and improve on efficient working practices & techniques
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Qualifications & Experience (min level of requirement)

  • Possess a sound engineering background and a working history in the Compressed Air Industry
  • A current driving licence is essential

 

HPC is offering a competitive salary of between £45k and £50k per annum subject to experience, with benefits including a company car, company pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, sick pay and private healthcare after a qualifying period.
