Description: A vacancy has arisen within HPC Compressed Air Systems for an Operations Support role at HPC Nottingham.

Working a 37 hour week, the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the stock and consumable supplies for both HPC Nottingham and HPC Birmingham regional centres, engineers vans and lock-ups, loading and unloading, moving and stock storage, ensuring stock accuracy, prompt processing of goods outwards/inwards and returns. The operations support role will also assume responsibility for the buildings, company vehicles and plant with regard to maintaining good order, safety inspection checks plus the coordination of waste oil returns and special waste returns for both centres.

With previous experience in a similar role essential, ideally 3 years, our Operations Support must be confident with excellent organisational skills and a positive 'can do' attitude. A self-starter that can run with tasks who has the ability to turn their hand to any business requirement that arises to support the operation of the business. Working within a tight, multi-functional team, communication is key with team members whilst maintaining close communications with both the Operations Manager in Burgess Hill and the General Manager.

The Operations Support must be prepared to travel between centres so a full UK driving licence is essential. The role will involve the use and operation of a forklift, so a counterbalance or reach truck licence is preferable, however, training can be provided.
